Oran Darragh is a 23-year-old primary school teacher and journalist who has recently completed his Master's in Journalism at Ulster University. Having grown up with a keen interest in sport, Oran has a particular expertise in sports journalism, and he has created multi-platform content for various local and national sports publications in his short journalistic career. More recently, Oran co-founded a soccer podcast called ‘The Bottom Bins Podcast’, which he also co-hosts and produces. As well as the weekly matchday schedule, the podcast tackles issues within football that go beyond this, including racism and homophobia, and it has been signed by new company PRLY Sports, whose ethos revolves around kicking hatred out of the game. Oran aspires for a full-time career in sports journalism, creating content to cater everyone’s preference, with a niche setting him apart from the rest, in the hope of working with football’s biggest stars.
