Klára Filipová

Klára was born in industrial Ostrava, which affected her perception of the surrounding environment and made her look at current affairs with the desire to inform people around her. Since high school, she was contributing to local printed media. A few years later, she graduated from political science and journalism at Masaryk University, Brno. Currently she continues her Master’s degree in political science at University of Tartu, Estonia. Klára works in the Czech TV as an assistant editor of social networks and creates her own audiovisual content capturing the cultural life in Brno. After finishing her studies next year, she wants to dive deeper into local politics, which she believes to change people’s lives. One day, Klára would like to create a film documentary. Her life philosophy is simple: Improvise or die.
