Identity in London: Czech Graphic Design Shines at the Design Museum

March 3, 2025
On Thursday, February 27th, the Design Museum in London hosted the international premiere of Identity: A Czech Graphic Design Love Story. The screening attracted dozens of guests, including designers, architects, and several Bakala scholars studying in the UK.
The special evening was introduced by the museum’s director, Tim Marlow, together with Iva Baranová representing the foundation. Naturally, the film’s guide, Nicholas Lowry, as well as the filmmakers and the entire Identita Project team, were also present. The story of a field that Czechs have rightfully been proud of for a hundred years was shown on the big screen in the Bakala Auditorium.
The Bakala family has been a longstanding and significant supporter of the Design Museum, the largest museum of modern design and architecture. Their dedication to design led them to collaborate with the Identity Project, making this prestigious London premiere possible.
