I come from Prague which is also where I attended the Johannes Kepler Grammar School. Following my high school studies, I left for Britain to study for an MA in International Relations and Arabic at the University of St Andrews. During my time in Scotland, I took part in a number of student activities, some of which included writing for a student-run international relations magazine, organizing conferences or founding the St Andrews Dodgeball League. Apart from these, I successfully managed to combine my passion for entrepreneurship with my interest in sushi and I found out a sushi start-up. During university, I also underwent several internships. I worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, a biotechnology company, security and business consultancies and Amazon. After finishing my studies, I would like to work in the field of international development. At the London School of Economics, where I am currently studying with support of the Bakala Foundation towards an Msc in International Development with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, I intend to pursue subjects in my favourite areas such as humanitarian interventions or social enterprise.
