I completed a PhD in English Literature at Trinity College, Cambridge. I started this degree after graduating from Charles University in English and American Studies (Faculty of Arts) and Journalism (Faculty of Social Sciences). My dissertation investigates the post-Shakespearean representation and reputation of King Richard III. I have also published and given conference talks on early modern drama and the book trade in the seventeenth century. In addition to my research in early modern literature, I am also interested in modern prose and drama, especially the work of Václav Havel. I was an academic writing mentor at Trinity College. In 2017, I started post-doctoral research in seventeenth-century literature as a Junior Research Fellow at Jesus College, Oxford.
