The program will launch with a lecture by Marcin Sapeta entitled “The Power of Weakness: Architecture Through Lightness and Materiality”.

Kaplicky Internship competition is organised by the Bakala Foundation in partnership with the Czech Chamber of Architects, Kaplicky Centre Endowment Fund and the Design Museum.

The program will begin with a lecture by the partner of the Kengo Kuma and Associates, in which the next winner of the Kaplicky Internship competition will spend a three-month fully funded internship.
During the celebratory evening, the announcement of the Master Theses Competition of architects, landscape architects and urban planners organized by the Czech Chamber of Architects will take place, followed by the Kaplicky Internship of the Bakala Foundation. The 2024 Kaplicky Internship was awarded to Justýna Kaislerová, who spent her paid internship at the renowned Studio Libeskind in New York City.
