Tomáš Zeman

I am currently studying my DPhil of pure maths at Magdalen College, Oxford. I obtained my undergraduate degree at Cambridge where I studied the Maths Tripos. I completed my sixth form education at Winchester College. My research interests lie mainly in algebraic topology; right now I am studying fibre bundles of smooth manifolds and their characteristic classes. I am fascinated by films – so much so that I became a committee member of a local film club, helping organise its weekly screenings – and I enjoy reading fiction and growing plants.
