I have always had a deep passion for mathematics, and it is largely thanks to my extraordinary secondary school teacher that I got to where I am today. With her guidance and encouragement, I actively participated in various mathematical Olympiads and competitions, and eventually decided to transfer to the Jan Kepler Gymnasium, where I could pursue mathematics at a different level. Supported wholeheartedly by both my teachers and my family, I pursued online CTM courses and successfully passed three AP exams, which significantly shaped my academic trajectory. Kepler Gymnasium not only enhanced my mathematical abilities but, more importantly, instilled in me a keen eye for seizing opportunities that come my way. Even amidst the challenges of the pandemic, I developed my self-study, organizational, and teaching skills, all thanks to the school's unwavering support. With the generous support of the Bakala Foundation, I was afforded one of the most profound opportunities of my life: to enroll on a four-year program in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Warwick. My introduction to statistics through the AP exam was an eye-opener, sparking a deep fascination with its ever-increasing significance and practical applications. It was the perfect intersection of mathematics with my other interests and abilities, which has been my aspiration all along. In the future, my ambition extends beyond being a part of academia and solving pressing global issues; I yearn to bring the teaching of statistics to high schools and personally mentor students within the secondary education sector. Besides math, I enjoy analogue photography and art. I love nature, traveling and absolutely love spending time with people.
