Oksana (22) is a student of an MA program at the Ukrainian Catholic University’s School of Journalism in Lviv. She holds a BA degree in neurobiology. Currently, she writes for Reporters and The Ukrainians. As a freelance journalist, Oksana wrote for The Ukrainian Truth, the Media. Lab, or Platfor.ma. She participated in international projects in Central Asia and in Ukraine. Her specialization is news coverage, and she believes that the primary aim of journalism is to show people that they have more similarities than differences. Her story about people living in the occupied Donetsk was shortlisted for the Samovydets reportage contest award.
