Mihail Petrov

Mihail Petrov is a Journalism student in his final year of study at Sofia University. He has done internships at various media outlets, including Radio Free Europe/ Radio Liberty in the Sofia bureau and the Bulgarian National Television, where he currently works as part of the web news department. Petrov is also a prize-winner of the Radostina Konstantinova Foundation’s prestigious student scholarship, a NATO Youth Ambassador of 2018 for the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, and a DiscoverEU Youth Ambassador. He has publications covering international news and politics, social issues, and human stories and is also a co-host of a youth podcast, centered around critical thinking and activism. He considers himself a socially conscious person and human rights advocate with expressed interests in the areas of foreign affairs, cultural diversity social justice.
