As a fourth-year Natural Sciences student at Cambridge University, I love to explore how our world works from the viewpoints of Chemists, Physicists, and Biologists alike. My specialization is in Materials Science, a field which combines the expertise of Physical Chemistry with the practicality of Engineering. Such interdisciplinary research allows us to uncover fascinating links between seemingly unrelated applications, and I very much enjoy studying these connections. In my free time, you can usually find me running, solving twisty puzzles, climbing, or playing the guitar. I have been also involved in organizing Scientific societies, events, and competitions like the Chemistry Race. If you would like to chat about any of these or studying abroad in general, please drop me a message! My background is in Chemistry, although when I was setting up an amateur lab years ago in our garage, I had no idea this would spark a lifelong passion for Natural Sciences. After days of exploring various reactions and scaring neighbours with colourful smoke, I started participating in different Scientific Olympiads where I found many great friends and remarkable mentors. Following internships in research of nanotechnologies and molecular machines, I have been fortunate to start studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge with the support of the Bakala Foundation.
