Jiří Svoboda

Jiří is a reporter and content editor at CzechCrunch.cz. He covers topics of technology, space and social media, and is interested in disinformation, politics and everything in between. Journalism has been his passion from the age of 15 so he later started to study media communication and political science at Masaryk University in Brno. Last year he launched a new series on the student‘s Radio R that consists of interviews with Czech journalists. In the near future, he would like to start working for English-speaking media. His life- goal, though, is to make journalism a respected field among general public. As his main source of inspiration Jiří considers in-depth interviews that he conducts as part of his job. He is not a fan of the term “work-life balance”, as he believes that fulfilling work should be the main part of life.
