Jiří Doležel

Over the last few years, I have been interested in the current problems in organic chemistry and their possible solutions. Recently, I graduated from MSci Chemistry at the University College London with First Class Honours and a place on the Dean’s List. In October 2022, I am starting my PhD studies at the University of Cambridge in the research group of Dr Phipps. During my undergraduate studies, I have focused on developing my research skills by conducting internships in the groups of Dr Slanina (IOCB, Prague) and Prof Schoenebeck (RWTH, Aachen). In addition, I have become an author of several tasks for chemistry-focused high-school competitions, such as the Chemistry Olympiad. In my free time, I enjoy learning new things, spending time with friends and watching Drag Race.
