I am currently studying Computer Science at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. I have always been fascinated by Mathematics and recently I have also developed a strong passion for Computer Science. During my high school years I regularly attended various extracurricular competitions and contests for high school students. Thanks to my improving results in national olympiads I was chosen to represent the Czech Republic in five international contests and I was awarded three medals at International Olympiads in Informatics. I have continued participating in programming challenges during my university studies. I already had an opportunity to represent the University of Oxford and win the 10th, 9th and 7th place in teams of three at North and Western European Regional Contest of International Collegiate Programming Competition. I was awarded by British Computing society for my performance at Oxford University’s first year Computer Science exam. I also received Hoare Prize for second and third year's exam. I spent last summer on an internship in Silicon Valley learning and searching.
