Cognitive and Decision Sciences
University College London
UK
I come from Trebic and I attended the local grammar school there for eight years. During this time, I built a strong interest in the natural sciences and took part in a variety of physics and astronomy projects and competitions. However, since I didn't want to specialise too early, I decided to apply to Trinity College, University of Cambridge to study Natural Sciences. This allowed me to sample a range of subjects in physics and biology before deciding to specialise in neuroscience and experimental psychology. With a continuing support of the Foundation, I was then able to study a masters degree in Cognitive and Decision Sciences at University College London. Since finishing the course in the summer of 2017, I have been working as a data analyst at the Financial Conduct Authority in London. My team uses a combination of behavioural and data science to better understand British consumers, with the aim of designing more effective governmental policies.
