Education
University College London

During my high-school years, I began to engage in free-time activities which were more fulfilling in learning and discovering the world around me than the high school itself. I worked in multiple non-profit organisations focused on the environment and human rights. Within the school, I have also organised educational events, and activities building citizenship across the school. I further led processes securing a better functioning of the school student-led body. Since schooling has always been my joy and interest, I continued to study Education studies at University College London. It is a broad degree including sociology, pedagogy, philosophy and psychology of schooling. It can be understood as a systemic perspective on schooling. Throughout my studies I have worked on diverse publications and projects with multiple organisations such as Eduin, Teach Live, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and STEM. In my third year, I went on a one-term exchange at the University of Helsinki, now I have my last term in London ahead of me. After my bachelor’s degree, I am planning to continue to a master’s degree in sociology, where I still want to carry on focusing on education.
