2018 TOP Czech Women Awards

The results of the 2018 TOP Czech Women awards were announced at Prague’s Forum Karlín. Michaela Bakala, the event’s patron, presented the TOP Manager award to Daniela Pešková. The TOP Entrepreneur award went to Simona Kijonková, founder of Zásilkovna and Kateřina Šimáčková, Czech Constitutional Court Judge, won the TOP Public Sector Woman category. The prestigious event aims to recognize successful women in both the private and public sectors, as well as inspire the next generation of talented young women. Michaela Bakala opened the announcements of the winners in a speech, which among other things, appealed to women to stick together the way men do.  “The nominations announced each year, confirm that the number of talented and determined women in the management of companies and institutions is growing. I see a generation of young, smart, and self-confident women who will have a great impact on our future. I wish them all success.” Michaela wants not only to pass on professional experience but also promote values such as diligence, fair play, courage, responsibility, and respect for those who are less successful. Michaela Bakala is a working woman and mother who dedicates herself to philanthropy and appreciates the ability of successful women to balance their business and family life. She believes femininity has value and can contribute to the business environment. The nominees are proof that women can be very successful while keeping their charm. Michaela congratulated warmly all the present ladies on receiving their awards and for being an inspiration to other women and to the whole society.
