On November 10, 2016, Aspen Institute Prague and Forbes Czech Republic organized second edition of the annual conference Czech Republic: The Shape We're In, which aims to provide a complex overview of the political, economic and social development of the Czech Republic in a long-term perspective. Renowned experts, business leaders, politicians and representatives of NGOs discussed the present and future of the Czech Republic in the following panels: Economic Potential, Quality of Life, National Security, Education and Governance

"We are doing well enough, we belong to the rich and developed countries, but in certain areas we surprisingly lag behind. We wanted to offer concrete ideas to improve and fully use the potential that our country has," said Jiri Schneider, Director of Aspen Institute Prague.
Madeleine K. Albright, Former US Secretary of State and Honorary Co/Chair of Aspen Institute Prague was a special guest and keynote speaker at gala dinner, which was held at the Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle after the conference.
